Is Shopify better than WooCommerce for an Indian business?
It depends on catalogue and margin. Shopify wins when you want hosting, security and PCI compliance handled and can absorb the monthly fee. WooCommerce wins when you already run WordPress, want lower running costs, or need control Shopify does not permit. Neither is universally better and we build both.
How much does a Shopify store cost to build?
Setup on a customised existing theme is the lower end; a custom Liquid theme built to your design runs considerably higher, as do stores needing custom apps or complex fulfilment. Shopify subscription and any app fees sit on top of the build and are worth modelling for year two, not just launch.
Can Shopify handle Indian payment gateways and GST?
Yes. Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree and UPI all integrate, and GST-compliant invoicing is handled either through Shopify settings or a dedicated app depending on your requirements. We configure this during setup rather than leaving it for you to discover after the first order.
Can you migrate my existing store to Shopify?
Yes - products, variants, customers, order history and, importantly, URL redirects so the search rankings the old store earned carry across. Losing redirects during a migration is the most common and most expensive migration mistake.
Can customers track their orders?
Yes. Order status, shipment tracking through your courier's API, and email or WhatsApp notifications at each stage. Order tracking is one of the largest reducers of customer support volume in Indian ecommerce, so it usually pays for itself.
Can the store handle multiple vendors?
Yes. Multi-vendor marketplaces with separate seller dashboards, commission handling, individual payouts and per-seller order management are a common build. It is meaningfully more complex than a single-seller store, so we scope it as its own project.
Can I pay in instalments?

Do you charge hourly or per project?

What is the fastest you can deliver a website?
A single landing page can go live in a few days. A five to eight page business site takes two to three weeks done properly. Anything promising a full custom site in 48 hours is describing a template with your logo on it, which is a legitimate product but not the same product.
Can you work to a fixed launch date?
Often, yes, if the date is real and we know about it at the start. Where a date is genuinely immovable we will tell you honestly what fits inside it and what has to move to phase two, rather than agreeing and then missing it.
